Welcome to Umai Resto bar, located at the harbor of our fishing village Urk. In this vibrant setting we offer a unique combination of delicious dishes and refreshing drinks in a lively and warm atmosphere. Umai (うまい) in Japanese is mainly used to describe good food, but also to enjoy in the broadest sense of the word. Our menu includes an extensive selection of dishes from various parts of the world, designed to please everyone. We cherish fresh, local and seasonal ingredients, including of course the famous Urk fish, to create various tasty dishes that will surprise you again and again.
In our bar you will find an extensive choice of wines, cocktails, spritzes, (special) beers and off course good coffee! Whether you come for an intimate dinner, a nice drink with friends or a festive evening out, you are always welcome at Umai Resto Bar.

At Umai Resto Bar you experience fun dining in a new way. We hae a choice between Chef’s Choice, shared dining and the classic à la carte. Our menu shines with fresh fish, straight from our own cutter, the Z-182 named Hennie, as well as a rich variety of regional products such as freshly picked vegetables and carefully selected meat.
In the Chef’s Choice, we invite you to choose from 5, 6 and 7 course menu options that will tantalize your taste buds. Here you will find the creativity of our young and dynamic kitchen team where the menus change every 6 weeks. Are you a frequent guest? Let us know and we will take the composition into account.
For true Umai lovers, we also offer the “UmaI VIP x10” experience of 10 courses plus matching wines and of course we start with a refreshing glass of bubbles. This is by reservation only and can be reserved until 7:00 PM.
For the sharers among us, you can criss-cross the menu, consisting of bites, small dishes and larger dishes, to share and enjoy together.
Finally, our menu can also be used as a classic à la carte. Let yourself be guided by the components (small, large and dessert).
